Masato Shimoyama who is JPN’s conceptor, has worked with some of the world's most prestigious brands as an importer for high-end mechanical watch brands, based in Switzerland and France.
“I was in daily contact with their branding, design, technology and quality of Swiss luxury watch industry. I thought that if I could take Japanese technology, finesse, seriousness and unique Japanese culture and embody it in a new way, I would be able to create a watch that was greater than a high-end Swiss brand. Then,we launched the JPN brand in 2020 in order to represent new Japan's standard to the world. A team of specialists is involved in the JPN project. JPN's first collection, "130R" was created by drawing on the strengths and experience of each specialist. Featuring an ultra-lightweight and strong carbon case, all metal parts are made of grade 5 titanium.” He said.
In October 2020, we will offer the world essential daily watches that are made in Japan, offering watches with high spec materials, high quality, and practicality at an affordable price that is equal to or better than ultra-high-end mechanical watches from Switzerland.

Born in 1978, Japanese entrepreneur and professional racing driver. Since 1994,he has been active as a professional racing driver based in Europe, and has made numerous achievements both in Japan and abroad. He has been in the watch business since 2013 and is the CEO of EAU ROUGE, a company dealing in luxury watches, of mainly Swiss brands. He is the founder of JPN, as well as brand’s conceptor.

As a consequence,even in the 2020 Covid disaster, I recklessly launched JPN WATCHES.

Makoto Nayuki
Holds grade 1 of Watch Repair Technician license. He started a career as a watch maker in 1993.He has repaired more than 60,000 watches par a year, including quartz, tourbillons and perpetual calendar. He is the only person in Japan who is authorized to adjust HYT (a Swiss-made ultra-complex liquid luxury watch). He's in charge of the design, and other technical aspects of JPN.
